Aspen Art Museum Announces New Curator Jacob Proctor
The Aspen Art Museum recently announced Jacob Proctor as their new Curator. Proctor received his MA from Harvard in 2002, where is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in modern and contemporary art. He had been working as associate curator of modern and contemporary art at the University of Michigan Museum of Art since 2007. Proctor was recipient of a Curatorial Fellow from the Harvard University Art Museums. Although Michigan is a long distance from Colorado, the state will not be new to Proctor, as he graduated summa cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder. The entire Aspen Art Museum staff is eager for Proctor to join the team, as he will doubtlessly bring much in the way of contemporary programming.
