In 2007 she was a Creative Capital | Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant recipient and in 2009 an NEA International Arts Journalism Fellow in the Visual Arts. By 2010 she'd won several awards for reporting and art criticism from the Society of Professional Journalists including first place art blog in the Top of the Rockies competition.
